  1. It's a really good book. It's kind of slow at the beginning but it gets..........interesting in the middle.

  2. ‘Nation” by Terry Pratchett is a really interesting book to read. The book had a lot of twists and suspense in it. As I read the novel, there was a lot of character development. The author slowly described the characters and each of their personalities. ‘Nation’ is about an island boy named Mau who was asked to leave his tribe to go to another island to prove that he has become a man. When he returns, his island and tribe have been destroyed by a massive tsunami that left no survivors from his tribe. Mau eventually learns to become the new leader of his tribe with fellow survivors from other islands and a trouser woman, Daphne who had also survived the tsunami from her boat. He uncovers many great secrets and become the new leader of his tribe.

I liked the book 'Nation' by Terry Pratchet because I felt that it had a good plot. I also felt that it had very strong characters. For example, Mau, the main character had a very strong personality and you really understood his thoughts. I also liked how this book would show the story from a different point of view, so that it focused on different characters every chapter. I really liked how at the end of the novel, the plot came together and the missing pieces were put back in place to make sense. For example, Daphne's past was revealed and also the book's history of the world was 'explained'.
